Once again the threat of rain made me go mow. Just a little rain and the grass and weeds go berserk. But it looks good and I dropped the deck to get as much of the clover as possible. Also was able to see a garter snake trying to get out of the way and was able to stop in time. I have killed a couple over the years and just hate it when that happens.
There is a blog I have been reading and what a writer.

If you have time, sit back and enjoy.
Good morning!
And thank you so much for your kind words and the link!
I have been blogging just over six months now, and only a month or so on WordPress, and I have much to learn.
Little by little, it will happen.
I see on your “About” page that you will be coming back to my part of the country – Texas – in the fall. I am also caring for an elderly parent, whom I moved here from Iowa, so we have some things in common.
Again, many thanks. You have a nice site, and I’ll be putting a link to it on my page. I’m just “getting to know folks” here, and it’s really fun!
regards, Linda
Hi Linda,
Yes, Texas has been home for a number of years. I tried to get Mom to move but no luck. Of course she had lived here all her life and I can understand her reluctance to make the move. So now I do get to return and start a new adventure.
I am still trying to learn my way around WordPress and I do get frustrated at times. Of course, I get frustrated with all I need to learn about my computer too!
Thank you for stopping by and you have a really great blog.
Sharon
Hi, Sharon,
Was just looking at the weather and saw that there may be some rough stuff coming through Nebraska – hope it misses you!
It’s so hot and sticky here that it feels like midsummer.
It’s soon going to be time for me to do my writing in mid-afternoon so I can stay out of the heat. Pop another post up sometime and let us know what you’re up to!
Linda
